The first rule of biking — or anything, to be frank — should be “safety first” and a helmet is a must before riding.
At the Pamulak Sa Kadayawan 2018 last Sunday, August 19, street photographer Dennis Tan spotted a rider with a unique take on the headgear.
Swapping aerodynamic designs made with fancy material, one rider opted to be “husky” and used a coconut shell to protect his noggin.
Tan’s photo as of current writing has been shared nearly 6,000 times on Facebook, with many users leaving comments in praise of the creative use of the indigenous material.
Once more with feelings: Safety first, so make sure that your head is actually protected! — Credits to GMA News
